REMOVAL OF 08 PIECES SEIZED HYDRAULIC NUTS

BACKGROUND
Customer has engaged a reputable repair company to carry out the main engine unit overhauling. However, they realized that the hydraulic nut on the cylinder cover was seized and was unable to remove it after 1 day of trying.

Customer then activated DIESELMAN Singapore on 01st May 2019 morning 0830hrs and by 1000hrs, our team arrived and started working and managed to completely removed the sized nuts by 0430hrs the next day.

Once again, our team has proven to be able to carry out repair works efficiently and effectively.

RECTIFICATION OF LEAKING HANS-JENSEN LUBRICATOR

BACKGROUND
Vessel was doing her routine dry docking in China shipyard when she found out that her Hans-Jensen mechanical lubricator was leaking. With less than 6 days to undock and no spares onboard, customer contact Dieselman SG help rectify the issue.

OUTCOME
As our service team consist of only very experienced engineers from ex-makers, we are very specialized in all engine related repair.
It was found that cylinder oil was leaking from the sight glass and damaged pump shaft seal. Overhaul was carried out on both cylinder lubricator and leakage was stopped at the damaged pump shaft seal as a temporary solution due to lack of spare parts. Crews were taught on how to change out the damaged parts once new spares arrived.
Problem was solved efficiently without causing any delay to vessel schedule.

Main Engine Docking Overhauling

BACKGROUND
Customer has engaged us to carry out main engine overhauling during vessel docking for their MAN ME type engine. Customer’s doubt in us was cleared and awarded the job to us after discussion with our technical team. They were convinced, for the fact that our experience of 15 years with the engine maker, we are a competent and trustworthy company that they can entrust their faith in us to deliver the drydock maintenance even on the electronic ME Engine.

Scope of work includes: –
– General docking scopes
– ELFI valves inspection
– HPS Pump Maintenance
– Pneumatic system overhauling
– HCU and HPS accumulators overhauling
– F.O. booster unit overhauling and booster pump adjustment.
– Engine functional test and sea trial

OUTCOME
As our service team consist of only very experienced engineers from ex-makers, we are very specialized in all engine related repair.
Total duration in drydock: 8 days including sea trial.

Once again, our commitment has won us the confidence of another customer.

MAN Alpha Lubricator Overhaul

BACKGROUND

Vessel was facing some faults on her cylinder lubricator on the way to Singapore. Customer contacted us knowing our engineers are from ex-maker to attend to their vessel and carry out rectification. After much discussion to understand the situation, customer decided to carry out complete overhauling instead and required us to supply spare parts as well.

Scope of work includes: –

– Renewal of faulty accumulators and charged all accumulators

– Overhauling of all lubricators

– Overhauling of pump station

– Replacement of BCU

– Carry out simulation test

OUTCOME

Alpha Lubricator system has been successfully overhauled to customer’s satisfaction.

Even though it was an urgent order, all spare parts arrived on time and avoid unnecessary down time.

Once again, we our professionalism has won us the confidence of another customer.
